ATLANTA — Troopers said a man was killed and three other people were injured in a crash during the Monday morning commute.

Troopers said a the wreck happened around 7:30 a.m. on I-75 SB near West Paces Ferry Road. Troopers said the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree.

Troopers said the car flipped several times and the front seat driver and the front seat passenger were ejected. The man died at the scene.

The female passenger, as well as a man and woman who were sitting in the back seat of the car, were all taken to Grady Hospital with serious injuries.
It’s unclear who was driving the car. The victims have not been identified pending notification of next of kin.
