ATLANTA, Ga. — Atlanta police have arrested a 23-year-old man after a shooting Saturday morning on Cheshire Bridge Road.

Officers responded shortly after 6 a.m. to Tokyo Valentino on Cheshire Bridge Road, where they found a 35-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was alert, breathing and was taken to a hospital.
Investigators later determined security at the location fired a gun during the incident, striking the suspect before he fled.

Police were later notified that the suspect, identified as James Jenkins, had arrived at Northside Hospital in a private vehicle. Officers found Jenkins with an apparent gunshot wound. He was in stable condition and was taken into custody.
Jenkins is charged with aggravated assault. The investigation remains ongoing.
