ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries will play Game 6 at State Farm Arena on Thursday.
Sources told Channel 2 sports director Zach Klein that Game 6 will tip off at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Hawks home game at 8 p.m.
The WNBA later confirmed the time change. The Dream posted that tickets will go on sale at 4 p.m. Monday.
This is a developing story. We’ll have the latest on the move on Channel 2 Action News starting at 4:00 p.m.
“The sellout crowds and extraordinary atmosphere at State Farm Arena for Games 3 and 4 were a tremendous success, and we’re excited to give thousands more fans the opportunity to experience Game 6 with a championship on the line,” WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said.
“We thank the NBA, Dream, Valkyries, Hawks, State Farm Arena and USA Network for the collaboration and flexibility that made this move possible. We look forward to delivering another unforgettable Finals experience in Atlanta.”
