ATLANTA — Atlanta could break another record high Friday afternoon. But big changes are on the way for all of us in north Georgia this weekend.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz says if Atlanta reaches 85 degrees today, it would be the fourth day in a row that it broke or tied the record high for this time of year.
But a cold front this evening will drive big weather changes. Many of us will wake up to lows in the 40s and 50s, our first real taste of fall.
Nitz says with the cold front, a stray shower is possible Friday evening.
