HOUSTON — The Atlanta Braves are National League East champions again for the first time since 2023.
The Braves clinched the division following their win over the Houston Astros on Sunday. It also marks the 24th division title in franchise history, tying the MLB record.

Atlanta isn’t out of the running for a first-round bye, but time is winding down to catch up to Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. If they don’t get a first-round bye, the Braves would be the No. 3 seed and host a Wild Card series at Truist Park starting Sept. 29.
Atlanta wraps up its regular-season schedule with a home series against Cincinnati Reds starting Tuesday and a road series with Miami Marlins.
