PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A man accused of raping at least eight women over the span of 30 years is now accused of sexual assault in a third metro Atlanta county.
Bobby Lee Hart Jr. has been accused of crimes in Douglas, Cobb and now Paulding counties.
A woman who knows the suspect says these new charges are long overdue, LIVE on Channel 2 Action News at 5:00 p.m.
People who live in the Paulding County community say it’s scary knowing someone accused of being a serial rapist was roaming through.
Hart is currently in jail.
It began when the Douglas County District Attorney announced his arrest in 2025, accusing Hart of attacking women for decades.
A grand jury indicted him in seven assaults. Then a grand jury in Cobb County indicted him for another attack.
Paulding is set to announce details of another assault.
