According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash happened around 6:44 a.m. Friday in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95.
Troopers said a Toyota Tacoma had broken down on the median shoulder because of an electrical malfunction. The driver believed the problem had been fixed and tried to re-enter the highway.
However, the truck lost power again after partially entering the center lane.
A Chevrolet Tahoe traveling southbound in the center lane then hit the passenger side of the Toyota, according to GSP.
