ATLANTA — Strong wind gusts brought down power poles across parts of Georgia, but also is bringing very cold temperatures Tuesday.
The cold temperatures will be sticking around for a while along with the windy conditions. A wind advisory has been issued until 7 p.m. Tuesday night.

Wind gusts could blow as fast as 35 mph, with the potential of downing trees or tree limbs, causing isolated power outages like they did Monday.
Authorities say a person was injured when a tree crashed onto a home in Atlanta this morning.
In Sugar Hill, the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Nelson Brogdon Boulevard was closed overnight.
Channel 2′s Darryn Moore says crews had to replace 16 traffic lights that had fallen or were damaged. By 6:30 a.m., crews had completed the repairs.
