Pitcher Max Fried won his second consecutive Gold Glove. The lefty recently pitched Game 6 shutout that gave the Braves their first World Series title since 1995.

Fried not only is one of the leaders on the Braves staff, but he has also filled in as a pinch hitter and pinch runner when needed this season.

Fried had a .978 fielding percentage in 2021 and only one error for the entire season.

The other gold glove winner, outfielder Adam Duvall. Duvall returned to the Braves after spending a little over half the 2021 season with the Marlins playing mostly left field.

Because of his defense, Duvall was used in all three outfield positions for the Braves this season, but was mostly used in centerfield during the playoffs. He actually won the award as a right fielder.

Duvall led National League right fielders with nine defensive runs saved and had seven assists. He had five more assists when he played either left or center field.
