Channel 2 is the official local TV station of the Georgia Bulldogs and sent crews to southern California.

Fans told Channel 2′s Sophia Choi that it is never too early to get excited about the big game.

Choi said she saw substantial electric signs throughout Inglewood, California, welcoming fans to the Golden State.

Fans like Emily Head told Choi that they bought tickets before the Bulldogs claimed victory at the Peach Bowl.

“Me and my brother went to the SEC Championship game and watched the field goal missed at midnight, and we already bought our tickets and everything for this,” Head said. “We were like, ‘Yes, it’s not a waste!’”

Choi asked the Heads if they ever had any doubts about the Dawgs losing the game that night when deciding whether to purchase the tickets.

“Oh, no chance, no chance. Absolutely not,” Murphy Head told Choi.

While in Los Angeles, Choi found a small Dawg Nation community in the heart of Hollywood, one of the members being Channel 2′s Dave Huddleston’s daughter, Kallie, a UGA grad with a winning spirit.

“I’m looking for a good game, but a good blowout, too,” Huddleston said. “I want us, the Dawgs, to crush them and absolutely dominate on the field.”
