Max Fried pitched six scoreless innings, Austin Riley homered and the Atlanta Braves won Game 2 in their best-of-five National League Divisional Series with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Atlanta’s victory evens the series at 1-1.
Fried pitched six innings, gave up three hits, no runs and struck out nine batters.

The Braves got the scoring started in the third inning. Freddie Freeman’s single scored Jorge Soler to put the Braves up 1-0. Freeman scored a few pitches later when Ozzie Albies doubled to right field. That put Atlanta up 2-0.
Riley homered to center in the sixth inning to put Atlanta up 3-0.

The Brewers threatened in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings, but the Braves stranded two base-runners in all three innings.
Game 3 is in Atlanta on Monday. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:07 p.m.
