Coronavirus impact: Norwegian Cruise Line cancels more voyages; what is status of other cruise lines?

More summer travel plans are being impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Norwegian Cruise Lines announced Friday that it has extended the voluntary suspension of cruises through June 30.

Company officials hope to restart trips on July 1.

Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings owns not only ships under the Norwegian name but also Oceana and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Fox News reported.

Carnival Cruise Lines has stopped all ship sailings through at least June 26.

All San Francisco sailings have been canceled for the rest of the year. Carnival Sunrise sailings through and including Oct. 19 have been canceled. The Carnival Legend sailings will not resume until after Oct.30, while Carnival Radiance sailings will begin after Nov. 1.

Royal Caribbean’s itineraries have also been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

All sailings on any Royal Caribbean ship have been canceled through June 11.

Disney Cruise Line has canceled new departures for the Dream and Fantasy through May 17. The Magic’s sailings have been canceled through June 7. The Wonder’s sailings have been canceled through June.
