According to KABC, Heche is being investigated for felony driving under the influence after she crashed her car into a house in Los Angeles on Friday which sparked a fire and left her in a coma.

KTTV said that Heche was alone in the car at the time of the crash and was pulled out of the car by the Los Angeles Fire Department. LAFD told KTTV it took about 60 firefighters and about an hour to get the flames out. LAPD told CNN that a woman inside the home at the time of the crash had minor injuries and received medical attention.

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Police Department told KABC that lab results revealed that Heche had a presence of narcotics in her system after the crash but will need further testing to rule out any of the substances that the hospital administered.
