Five people were critically injured in a shooting after a “domestic situation” in Memphis, Tennessee, on Friday night, authorities said.
According to police, the shooting occurred shortly at 7:59 p.m. CST, WHBQ-TV reported.
Two men and three women were wounded in the shooting, according to the Memphis Police Department.
The suspect is known by the victims but is not in custody. This incident stemmed from a domestic situation. All individuals shot were adults.

The shooting occurred at an apartment complex, WHBQ reported. At least one suspect fled in a white Infiniti, police said.
Four of the victims were taken to area hospitals, according to the television station. The fifth victim, a woman, was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, authorities said.
According to police, the unidentified suspect was known to the victims. That person is not in custody.
No other arrests have been made.
