Florida man accused of attacking mom when she wouldn't dress his mannequin

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A 40-year-old South Florida man is accused of attacking his mother after she refused to dress his mannequin, WPEC reported.

Mikkel Dankner was arrested by Boynton Beach Police and charged with aggravated battery on a victim over 65 years old and domestic battery by strangulation, the television station reported.

Monday night, police responded to a call from a neighbor, who said the 73-year-old woman was bleeding from her face and was being chased by her son, WPTV reported.

The victim told police she was in the backyard of a home when Dankner asked her to dress his mannequin, the television station reported. When the woman refused, Dankner allegedly blocked her path back into the house.

The victim pushed the mannequin down on the ground and ran inside the house, WPTV reported.

According to police, Dankner grabbed his mannequin and followed his mother inside, where he pushed her to the ground, WPEC reported.

The victim told police Dankner hit her several times in the head with a wooden stool and stuffed dumplings into her mouth, causing her to have difficulty breathing, the television station reported.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where she required stitches, WPTV reported.
