HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — Georgia deputies are searching for a woman accused of ramming into a prison vehicle Wednesday morning.
A photo posted by Habersham County Sheriff Joey Terrell shows deputies near the Lee Arrendale State Prison searching for Laticia Erika Perry and Devonte Jenkins.

Deputies say Perry and Jenkins tried throwing drugs over a prison gate around 4 a.m. Prison guards blocked them from escaping when officials say the pair rammed into a prison vehicle with their car.
A prison guard had minor injuries and both ran from the scene. Deputies believe Perry may have been injured and is bleeding from the car crash.
Jenkins was arrested hours later, around 1 p.m., near the Cornelia and Baldwin city limits, deputies confirmed.

Deputies did not provide a description of Perry. She was last spotted in Shore Circle and Mt. Zion Connector area.
Anyone who sees Perry should call 911 or the sheriff’s office dispatch at 706-778-3911.
