ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a woman dead.
The woman was found dead in the parking lot of a shopping area on 2053 Metropolitan Parkway in southwest Atlanta.
Homicide detectives are on scene investigating. They are talking to witnesses and checking for surveillance cameras in the area.
The crime scene is in a busy area with a Dollar General, McDonald’s and BP gas station all nearby.
