ATLANTA — Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was shot and killed on Tuesday morning.
Officers responded around 2 a.m. to Westside Court Apartments on Defoors Ferry Road.

Atlanta Police told Channel 2’s Darryn Moore on Channel 2 Action News This Morning they got a call that a woman was shot inside the complex and that someone drove the victim to Grady Memorial Hospital.
She was listed as critical. Not long after that, investigators told Moore that she died from her injuries.
At this time, police have not released the ID of the victim or if a suspect is in custody.
