HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A train crashed into an 18-wheeler Thursday around 8:16 a.m., shutting down a road.
Henry County Police asked drivers to avoid Old Griffin Road and Racetrack Road.
Local crews were working to clear the scene as NewsChopper 2 flew overhead.
Norfolk Southern said its train was traveling northbound when the collision happened. Norfolk Southern’s crew were not injured.
Officials did not say if there were any injuries to the driver of the tractor trailer. Channel 2 has reached out for more information.
