Teen in critical condition after being shot while taking out the trash for his mom, police say

SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot taking out some trash n his way home from work in South Fulton County last week.

Police are still searching for the shooter.

Channel 2′s Tom Regan talked to Appolonia Blanchard, whose son, Miquavious, who was shot in the head at the Camelot Condominium complex off Old National Highway in College Park.

Blanchard said that after he got off his McDonald’s shift at 11 p.m. last Tuesday night, he was dropping off trash and a Christmas tree for his mother at the complex’s dumpster. The family doesn’t live at the complex, and Blanchard said some people didn’t like Miquavious using the dumpster there.
