Deon says that weather pattern will hold through Tuesday, staying hot and not too humid.

By mid-week, rain chances return to the metro Atlanta area with seasonal highs in the upper 80s to near 90.

Severe Weather Team 2 is also keeping an eye on a few areas in the Atlantic for possible tropical storm development.

There’s a low to medium chance with two areas well away from the United States, according to Deon.
