ATLANTA — You didn’t need to grab the rain gear Thursday, but you will want to have it handy starting today.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says Laura, which is now a tropical depression, will push some rain and storms toward Georgia.
The chances for isolated strong storms are going up for Friday.
We’re tracking which areas could see the strongest storms this weekend, on Channel 2 Action News This Morning.
Here’s what you need to know for your Friday:
- Few showers in some areas before storms fire up this afternoon
- There is a Level 1 out of 5 risk for storms in northwest Georgia
- More showers and storms are possible throughout the weekend
Good morning! Keeping an eye on scattered downpours across north GA today as #Laura moves northeast.
