Triple shooting leaves 1 dead, 2 critical at Union City apartment complex

UNION CITY, Ga. — Investigators in Union City say at least one person is dead and two others are in critical condition following a shooting Sunday.

Officers were called out to the 6300 block of Oakley Road after getting a call that multiple people had been shot.

When officers got to the scene, they found one man dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said as they began looking around the property, they found another man in a stairwell bleeding from gunshot wounds to abdomen.

As officers were securing that scene, they were alerted to yet another man that had been shot near another building in the apartment complex.

The surviving men were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where they remain in critical condition.
