3 dead, 1 injured across multiple shooting scenes in Union City, police say

UNION CITY, Ga. — The Union City Police Department said three people are dead and one is critically injured after three separate shootings at multiple locations in Union City Friday.

The shootings all happened along Highway 29 Friday afternoon.

Police said the first shooting happened at an Exxon station around 3:30 p.m. That victim died at the scene.

Two more people were shot at an intersection off Lee Street and Roosevelt Highway around 3:46 p.m. One man was taken to the hospital but died of his injuries. Another victim is in critical condition.

A fourth man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the shooting site on Lee Street around 4:30 p.m.

Information about the victims and the shooter has not been released.

Police are still investigating.
