EAST POINT, Ga. — Police released new photos Tuesday they say show the person who shot and killed a man at an ATM in East Point.

Channel 2′s Michele Newell was there Tuesday when police released new information while having a meeting at city hall with East Point officials. They were talking about recent crime in the area and discussing how to reduce it.

Police sent Channel 2 Action News video of a man walking in the Waffle House parking lot on Washington Road right after a man was shot and killed at nearby ATM last month.

Police said the shooter wasn’t the only person who was involved. He was with a group of men who took off in a silver car with something dragging on the ground. Police believe some of the men are Hispanic and others are Black.
