The summer pattern of afternoon storms continues for metro Atlanta.
A couple of thunderstorm warning in north Georgia expired earlier in the afternoon.
A viewer sent in photo of significant home damage from north Forsyth County, which was one of the earlier warned areas.
LIVE UPDATES:
- 4:55 p.m.: Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Forsyth County until 5:15 p.m. The warning was allowed to expire.
- 4 p.m.: The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 4 p.m. for Bartow and Gordon counties. It was in effect until 4:30 p.m.
The Sunday forecast is hot and humid with scattered storms in the metro Atlanta area.
Earlier, Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon says isolated strong and severe storms are are possible in northeast Georgia.

The main threat there are damaging wind gusts.
Deon said the heat and humidity are here to stay all week, with a chance for rain and storms each day.

High temperatures will be in the lower 90s but the feels like temperatures will be reaching triple digits.
Severe Weather Team 2 is also watching two areas in the Atlantic Ocean, for possible tropical storm development over the next seven days.
