Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon says scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across north Georgia Saturday afternoon. Temperatures reach the mid-80s.

Rain chances increase Sunday as cooler weather moves into the area. Deon says more widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, with some areas receiving heavy rainfall. Temperatures will be in the lower to mid-70s.
The rain will begin to move out Monday. A few scattered showers may linger early in the day before conditions gradually clear and dry out.
Cooler temperatures are expected to stick around through early next week, with highs remaining in the 70s.
