Puppy gets head stuck in spare tire rim

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Emergency staff at a metro Atlanta fire station helped a four-legged friend out of an unfortunate jam.

Palmetto Fire Rescue said someone came by Tuesday with their puppy, which had gotten its head stuck in the center hole of a spare tire wheel.

The crew carefully used rescue tools to cut through the rim while protecting the pup.

Photos of the successful rescue were shared on social media, and the team was credited for outstanding work “on a delicate, successful rescue!”

“Thanks to B Shift’s precise work and steady hands, the puppy was freed unharmed and returned to its relieved owner,” Palmetto Fire Rescue said.
