Parts of the Battery to open next week for in-person dining, live entertainment

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Two venues at Live! at the Battery Atlanta will reopen May 28, Braves officials announced Friday.

Sports & Social Atlanta and The Tavern will reopen for in-venue dining.

"We have thoughtfully put new procedures in place that allow us to welcome back team members and guests in the safest manner possible and remain committed to providing best-in-class dining, hospitality and experiences for all our guests during this time," officials said.

Safety measures will include offering contactless ordering and payment through OneDine -- which allows diners to order on their personal mobile device. Inside, venues will limit seating and outdoor patio space will be greatly extended.

Live entertainment will also return Thursday through Sunday afternoons and evenings outside. Sports & Social will broadcast sports events like UFC, PGA and NASCAR inside as well as classic sporting events and highlights.
