SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Police have closed down a Sandy Springs nightclub after a shooting outside left two people injured.
Officers say they were called to Nubia Café and Restaurant on Roswell Road just before 5:45 a.m. on Saturday for a shooting.
Investigators say Bienvenu Deounoudjou, 28, and a 34-year-old man got into a fight inside the club, which continued in the parking lot.

The 34-year-old was shot several times in his arm and upper chest. He was rushed to the hospital and was later released.
Deounoudjou was also inadvertently shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital.
He is being charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

While investigating, Code Enforcement inspected the property and found licensing and permitting violations, so they shut the business down.
The property owner was cited for multiple violations related to the business’ operation.
