Car goes up in flames while parked at Alpharetta apartment complex

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — No one was injured when a car went up in flames in the parking lot of an Alpharetta apartment complex.

Alpharetta firefighters were called to car fire at the Manchester at Mansell Apartments on Huntington Drive just before 2 a.m. Thursday morning.

Crews were at the complex four minutes after dispatchers received the initial call.

When they arrived, firefighters found that the care was completely engulfed in flames.

They quickly put out the fire and made sure that no buildings or other cars were damaged.

“The quick response and professionalism by these first responders and dispatchers show our commitment to our community and how seriously we take our jobs,” the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety said in a statement.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
