Not one single ticket matched the six numbers drawn Friday night (3,18,41,44,68 and gold Mega Ball 3). That grows the jackpot for the Tuesday, May 18 drawing to $475 million. For those keeping track, if you take the cash option, the payout would be $319,400,000. It would be the ninth largest payout in the games history.
According to Mega Millions, it’s the second time in the past two years the jackpot has gotten this big.

The good news is 1,230,932 tickets did win some sort of prize in Friday nights drawing. A California ticket matched the five white balls and wins the game’s second prize. 23 tickets won $10,000 for matching four of the white balls, though the game says two of those 23 will take home $20,000 because they used the Megaplier which this week doubled their money.
