EAST POINT, Ga. — A Channel 2 Action News crew saw officers with the East Point Police Department, College Park Police Department and South Fulton Police Department surrounding the Bayberry, Villages Of East Point along Bayrose Circle Sunday morning.

Our photographer saw officers running, some with large firearms and also heard police ordering people out of one of the townhomes. Neighbors told our crew they heard gun shots.
As the investigation continued, SWAT arrived on scene.
At this time there’s no word on what exactly police are investigating or why all three agencies and SWAT are present.
We did reach out to each agency. South Fulton PD would only say this is an East Point Police Department investigation.
