COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — A Coweta County mother and her two daughters are facing charges after police say two teens were attacked with a golf club.
The assault happened Monday night in Newnan during a fight between a group of teens.

Police say at one point, Curtisia Anya Heath grabbed a golf club and gave it to her 16-year-old daughter. The teen then ran toward a 14-year-old and hit her in the head, according to police.

The attack didn’t end there. Police say Heath’s 15-year-old daughter grabbed the club from her sister and hit another teen. The 14-year-old victim was hospitalized, but is stable. The second victim didn’t report any injuries.
Newnan Police say Heath has been booked on an aggravated assault charge at the Coweta County jail. Her daughters were taken to a regional youth detention center where they will face aggravated assault. The 16-year-old also is being charged with aggravated battery.
