The Atlanta Braves are hosting their annual Alumni Weekend at Truist Park Friday and Saturday, Aug. 14-15, as the team faces the Arizona Diamondbacks. The two-day event features autograph sessions, a public parade and the debut of the MLBx Atlanta Home Run Derby.

Game tickets are required for entry into Truist Park for scheduled stadium activities, though the parade through The Battery Atlanta is free to the public. Fans can access event maps, schedules and real-time roster updates on the MLB Ballpark app, at Braves.com/AlumniWeekend or through gameday playbills distributed at stadium entrances.

Friday’s schedule begins with alumni autograph sessions at 5:30 p.m. ahead of a 7:15 p.m. first pitch against the Diamondbacks. Autographs are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a game ticket, with specific locations and player rosters posted on the MLB Ballpark app at 3:30 p.m.

Former players will sign items provided by the team, with personal items, photos and repeat items prohibited.

At 6:50 p.m., alumni will be introduced on the field during a red carpet roll call in centerfield.

Events on Saturday open with the Braves Legends Parade through The Battery Atlanta at 4:00 p.m. before the 7:15 p.m. game. The parade route starts outside Silverspot Cinema near the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Battery Avenue, proceeding down Battery Avenue to the Third Base Gate. The parade is free to attend without a game ticket, though space is limited and no autographs will be permitted.

At 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Truist Park will host the inaugural MLBx Atlanta competition. Four three-player teams, each captained by a Braves alumnus, will compete in two Home Run Derby rounds followed by a final swing-off. Participating rosters combine former Braves players, collegiate athletes from Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia and softball players from Athletes Unlimited.

More than 60 former Braves players and coaches are scheduled to participate across the weekend. The expected alumni roster includes Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Dale Murphy, Brian McCann, Tim Hudson, Terry Pendleton, Julio Franco, Andrés Galarraga, Leo Mazzone and current Braves manager Brian Snitker.
