SAVANNAH, Ga. — A massive Great White shark has recently been tracked off the coast of Georgia.
WJCL-TV reports that OCEARCH, a nonprofit that tracks sharks, tracked the shark named Ironbound just northeast of Hilton Head Island on May 18, and just a week earlier it pinged off the Georgia coast just south of Savannah.
The group says the shark is about 12 feet long and weighs about 1,200 pounds.
