ATLANTA, Ga. — A man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Buckhead. Three people have since been detained in Cobb County.

Atlanta Police officers responded to the Mezzo Luxury Apartment Homes on Peachtree Road early Friday morning.
They found a 29-year-old man who was shot. He died at the scene. The man’s friend, who was not shot, was taken to the hospital for other injuries.

Police believe this was an armed robbery. Lt. Christapher Butler told Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach that the apartment complex gave them security video of the suspect vehicle.
“The apartment complex has been phenomenal in helping with the investigation,” Butler said.
The suspect vehicle was found in Cobb County. Butler said three people in the vehicle have been detained, but none of them have been charged.
