ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead just feet from a busy road.

Channel 2 Action News was there as investigators canvassed the area on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in northwest Atlanta early Monday morning.

Police said a man was found dead on the sidewalk near the Blue Flame Nightclub and behind the Valero gas station.

Investigators are searching for a car, but it’s unclear how it’s related to the investigation.

The victim has not yet been identified.
