HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A Gainesville man remains in the Hall County Jail without bond after deputies say they found a trafficking amount of fentanyl following an apparent overdose at a convenience store.

Tyler Jacob Jones, 28, was arrested last week after employees at the RaceTrac on Kubota Way found him unresponsive in a bathroom around 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.
Employees called 911 and performed CPR on Jones until emergency personnel arrived. He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to the scene found a small baggie containing 11.8 grams of fentanyl inside the bathroom, investigators said.
The fentanyl had an estimated street value of $1,770.
Deputies also found a piece of foil with burned drug residue, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jones was charged with felony trafficking fentanyl and misdemeanor possession of a drug-related object.
He was booked into the Hall County Jail Friday, Sept. 18, after being released from the hospital.
