Kids hurt, business damaged in drive-by pellet gun shootings

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating two BB or pellet gun shootings that injured children and damaged a business.

Damage at Extra Space Storage was caused by a drive-by BB gun shooting last Thursday. One window was shattered, and another had to be boarded up.

Children were targeted at a grocery store in a second shooting, LIVE on Channel 2 Action News at 5:00 p.m.

Police said Joshua Hendricks admitted to firing the weapon aimlessly from his car while driving along Terrell Mill Road in East Cobb.

The shooting happened in a busy shopping plaza last Thursday.

Hendricks is charged with reckless conduct and criminal damage.
