Authorities have given the all clear at a Hall County high school and for all Jackson County Schools after a bomb threat investigation.
Investigators say the series of threats was possibly generated by AI.
Channel 2 Action News This Morning first told you about the threat that prompted Jackson County Schools to delay schools. The district says multiple schools received a “computer generated bomb threat” overnight.
The district later made the decision around 8 a.m. to cancel school. Deputies searched all the school buildings and gave the all-clear for Jackson County Schools around 10:30 a.m.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office later reported that Cherokee Bluff High School received a similar threat. After a school-wide search, Cherokee Bluff High School resumed classes around 10:45 a.m.
Both school districts are working with county and state law enforcement Office to identify where the bomb threats originated from. The sheriff’s office is asking families to avoid the school areas and others can expect traffic delays.
