Here are the winning Powerball numbers for $2.04 billion jackpot after technical delay

ATLANTA — After a lengthy technical delay, the winning Powerball numbers for Monday night’s $2.04 billion drawing have been posted.

The winning numbers are 10, 33, 41, 47 and 56 with Powerball of 10.

The Powerball website shows that California sold one ticket that matched all numbers and Powerball. Sixteen states, including Georgia, sold tickets that matched all five numbers for $1,000,000 prize.

Powerball requires all 48 lotteries that participate to submit their sales and play data prior to the winning numbers being selected, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association statement.

One of the lotteries said it needed extra time to complete security protocols. The association said it is against their policy to name the lottery that is experiencing the delay.

However, Georgia Lottery officials confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that they are not the state with the technical issues.

Before the delayed drawing Tuesday morning, the Multi-State Lottery Association released the following statement overnight.

“The Powerball drawing scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7, remains delayed. Currently, one participating lottery is still processing its sales and play data. Powerball requires all 48 participating lotteries to submit their sales and play data prior to the winning numbers being selected. Once Powerball receives the outstanding submission, the drawing can proceed,” the statement read.

“Powerball has stringent security requirements to protect the integrity of the game and remains committed to holding a drawing that gives all players a fair chance to win.

“Due to the length of the draw delay, it is likely that we will not know the official results of the Powerball drawing until Tuesday morning. Players should hold onto their tickets.”
