24-year-old found dead near neighborhood pool

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating after a 24-year-old man was found dead near a neighborhood pool.

A neighbor found the man’s body near the Pembrooke Park subdivision’s community pool along Willow Lane in McDonough.

Some neighbors told us they heard gunshots coming from the area near the pool around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

“I was in my den, and I heard four shots: “Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow.” I got up to look outside, and I turned my lights on in the back because the shots were so loud, but when I turned it on, I did not see anything,” one neighbor said.

Some neighbors said they checked the pool Thursday morning and didn’t see a body. However, a man found the victim late Thursday afternoon.

Investigators identified the victim as Voise Pinn, of McDonough. Authorities are searching for a person of interest in the case.
