The sheriff’s office said the fight happened in front of three children, all younger than 18.
Deputies said Molina-Barraza had already left the home when they arrived, so they obtained warrants for battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act and three counts of child cruelty.

While investigating the incident, deputies learned there were outstanding warrants for sexual battery and battery under the FVA for Molina-Barraza against the same woman.
Those warrants were for a March 17 assault, at a home on Dean Street, where Molina-Barraza is accused of biting the woman’s breast, leaving a large bruise.
On Oct. 7, deputies returned to the Cronic Drive home for a follow-up call, finding Molina-Barraza and informing him they had warrants for his arrest.
When deputies tried to take him into custody, he tried to leave and resisted again when he was being put in a patrol vehicle, leading to an additional charge of misdemeanor obstruction.
Molina-Barraza’s relationship to the woman and children was not clear.
Molina-Barraza was awarded a bond of $20,100, according the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, but due to the probation violation for failing to attend DUI court, he is being held without bond.
