GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating after a person was hit and killed by a train in Gwinnett County on Friday night.
Officers say they were called to Bankers Industrial Dr. just off Buford Hwy.

Norfolk Southern officials confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that the crash happened not near a crossing just before 8 p.m.
Police say when they responded, the found the person dead. His or her identity has not been released.
The train operator was not injured.
Investigators have not commented on what led up to the crash.
