GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County man has been arrested after police say he hid a camera in the bedroom of his girlfriend’s 24-year-old daughter.
Jay Conway, 52, was arrested on eavesdropping and clandestine surveillance charges Friday.
The victim told police that she and her boyfriend were in bed in a basement bedroom when they noticed a blinking red light coming from an Easter basket near the bed.

The victim and her mother confronted Conway and recorded it. Police said Conway gave various excuses for making the recording, including that he “wanted to hear what they were talking about” and that he felt “left out.”
Conway said he did not have any of the videos recorded, and that the camera was just live when he wanted to look in on them.
