NORCROSS, Ga. — Drivers in Norcross spied a surprise visitor Wednesday afternoon as they drove along a busy road.
The Norcross Police Department reported a sighting of a bear at the intersection of S. Peachtree Street and Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Police contacted the Georgia Department Department of Natural Resources to help get the bear back to his rightful home and keep Norcross residents safe.

Police also issued a warning to those in the area to keep an eye out for themselves and their pets.
It is not clear at this time whether or not Georgia DNR was able to locate and rescue the bear.
