VIDEO: Good Samaritans rush to free motorcyclist trapped underneath car at popular beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A motorcycle driver at a popular beach destination just hours from metro Atlanta is grateful to have survived after he was ran over and trapped underneath a car.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department released video of Good Samaritans rushing to help.

The video shows a car quickly gaining on two people riding on a motorcycle before eventually crashing into them.

A woman on the back of the motorcycle flipped over the front and appeared to be unharmed. Throughout the video, she can be seen walking around.

The man driving the motorcycle becomes trapped underneath the front of the car.

Officers and passers-by saw the crash and quickly jumped into action.

After an unsuccessful attempt to free the man, more than a dozen people lifted the car and pulled the man out from underneath.

The conditions of either person involved in the accident are not clear.

There is also no word on if the driver of the car was cited in the accident.
