Georgia’s most popular delivery order during the pandemic may not surprise you

ATLANTA — Georgia is home to all kinds of fantastic foods – from fried chicken, peaches, BBQ chicken, pecan pie, Brunswick stew, etc. The list could go on and on.

But there is one that appears to be what everyone wants during the coronavirus pandemic: Wings.

Whether is it’s plain, mild, spicy, lemon pepper or parmesan garlic, Georgia is ordering them the most according to a new survey from Yelp.

The answer shouldn’t surprise you – wings have grown to have a cult-like reputation in Georgia. The FX TV show “Atlanta” has made “lemon-pepper wet” wings from J.R. Crickets famous.

The survey from Yelp ranks each state in the country and the #1 food delivery order since March 16.
