Brooklet police said she began her law enforcement career in 2009 and started working part-time with the Brooklet Police Department in 2018. She became full-time in 2019 and quickly moved up through the ranks to Lieutenant and served as Assistant Chief.
“She was loved dearly by our department and leaves behind an emptiness that will never be filled. Please pray for us and join us in praying for her husband and family during these difficult times,” the police department wrote on Facebook.
The Warner Robbins police department posted on its Facebook page a tribute to Stock, who worked at the department for six years.
“On behalf of Warner Robins Police Department, we send our condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers of Lt. Brandi Stock, Brooklet PD. We had the privilege of working with Lt. Stock, who at that time was known to us as Officer Brandi Cross, for 6 years after fulfilling her service to our nation in the military. Lt. Stock was an integral member of our Patrol Division and was a SWAT Operator, going on many details. We honor her memory and will never forget. Rest well Lt. Stock,” the department wrote.
